Thursday A busy morning in view of the Banks Peninsula meeting on Saturday was expected at Hiccarton to-day, but owing to a ' persistent drizzle only a few horses were sent out for easy work on the sand. Ilam Way is u three-year-old gelding by Iliad from Entreaty, dam of Phar /Lap. Kilcato is a three-year-old gelding by Pink Coat from Kilris and is trained for Mr. P. Campbell by C.-Davey. Sweet Mystery is a three-year-old filly by Lord Warden from Satisfy, and is trained by F. D. .Jones for Mr. C. Holdsworth.
