i Representations have ( been made to the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council by the Northcote Borough Council for a reduction in the price of milk for the summer season. It was emphasised that'.when zoning -was undertaken it was stated a. reduction in price could be anticipated. This, however, had not eventuated. Advice was received by the borough council that the water works loan of £ISOO for the construction ol: a new reservoir and laying concrete mains had been arranged. A by-law is to be drafted to compel owners to clear Watsonia from their properties. • ' - Donations of one guinea each were made to the society for tlio Protection of Women and Children and the Piha Life-saving Club. •• '? •'
