THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE CONDITIONS REMAIN ACTIVE Turnover was maintained at an active volume on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. With the exception oi' slight reaction to the recent sharp advance in Australian scrip, levels were firmly steady. Overseas banking shares met with stronger support, while insurances maintained their firm levels. Broken Hill and Colonial Sugar showed a slightly easier trend, but Electrolytic Zinc and G. J. Coles presented a better front. Marthas showed a decline iu the first sale since the lower dividend was announced.
