Hislop, presiding at the third general meeting of exhibition.shareholders, said that, in spite ofdifficulties, international and otherwise, the company had had to face, the finances were in a sound position and they had not had to ask for any increase in the bank overdraft arranged to meet contingencies before the opening date. He had no fears for the success "of the exhibition. The public would see an exhibition on a scale certainly as good as they had anticipated even before international and import difficulties arose.
