LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
Mount Albert.—An address was given by Dr. William Pettit to the Mount Albert League of Mothers recently. Mrs. M. Turner presided. Vocal solos were given by Mrs. McLaren and Mrs. Owens, and Mrs. Laird read a paper by Lord Bledisloe on the sanctity of marriage. Hostesses were Mrs. Browne and Mrs. Mills, the tea convenor being Mrs. Wattam.
