CENTENNIAL CARNIVAL To support the candidature of tlio Business Queen, 31 iss Una Richards, in flic Whangaroi Centennial Queen Carnival, a skating hockey match was played in the Whangaroi skating rink. The funds of the candidate were considerably augmented by the evening's entertainment. In connection with the candidature of 31 iss Teddy Searle, the Combined Services and Professions Queen, in the queen carnival, a baby photographic competition has been organised. With 1100 votes. Douglas Armstrong is at present leading the field of 29 entrants. 3lario Taylor is second and Noelene Blumeuthal third.
