SOLAR ACTIVITY
[llY TRLEORAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday Solar activity has been increasing during tl#j last fortnight. Both yesterday tufcl to-day the surface of the sun was well covered with spots. The Carter Observatory counted eight different seats of activity this morning, the greater number being near the sun's meridian.
