ACTION FOR LIBEL
EXPELLED GERMAN FRENCHMAN'S ALLEGATIONS PARIS,, Aug. 4 It is reported that Herr Otto Abetz is suing M. Henri de Kerillis for alleged libel on the advice of tho German Foreign Minister, Herr von Rib•bentrop, who feels that his personal dignity has been slighted.
It was stated in a cablegram from Paris on July 14 that M. do Kerillis, tho "Winston Churchill of France," had declared that over £IOO,OOO was spent by tho Germans in propaganda payments during the Munich crisis. Arrests of suspected spies in France were followed by the expulsion from that country of Herr Abetz. It was believed that he was the head of a German propaganda bureau originally started by Herr von Ribbentrop in his champagne-selling' days. Ho had an entertaining allowanco of, £2OOO a month, and employed unsuspected women in society as go-betweens.
