WAIPA GUN CLUB'S EVENTS [from our own correspondent] TE AWAMUTU, Monday : There was a good attcndanco of local and visiting shooters at the Waipa Gun Club's shoot and competition was keen throughout.: The first event, a six-bird eye-opener, saw, S. Otway, M. Otwav, D. Mitchell and L;; Zimmerman shoot the possible, and thoy divided the stake. The second shoot was a nine-bird event, for. Mr. G. Reynolds' medal. This was won by S. Otway with tho possible, while D. Mitchell and M. Otway tied for second place. The third shoot, six birds, was for the Drysdale Cun, with an optional sweep. The trophy was handed to the club by Mr. H. L. Marsh. M. Otway and R. Cobble tied with six birds e.lcli. while for the sweepstakes, E. Duncan and S. Otway were first and second. The next event was a fan snoot, six birds, in which R. Cobble, W. Parish. S. Otway and L. Zimmerman tied with thd possible.
