KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR

A fracture of the left thigh was suffered. by Graham Arthirr Wotherell, aged six, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Wotherell, of Weymouth Road, Manurcwa, when he was knocked down by a motor-car near his home at aftout two o'clock yesterday afternoon. The boy was attended by Dr. C. C. Jenkins, of Manurewa, and Dr. J. J. Valentine, of Papatoetoe, before being brought to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition last night was not serious.
