LADIES' INTER-CLUB MATCH MATAMATA AND WALTON DRAW [by telegraph—owx correspondent] TE AROHA. Thursday A pennant match played between representatives of the Matamata and "Walton 'Ladies' Golf Clubs resulted in a draw, each team winning four games. Following were the results, Matamata players', names, being mentioned first:—Miss N. Beverley beat Miss B. Payne, 1 up; Mrs. Ford lost to Mrs. Dickey. 4- and .3; Mrs. Powell beat Mrs. Catlin, 4 and 2; Mrs. Mclntyre beat Miss Real. 3 and 2; Mrs. Burke beat, Mrs. _F. James, 1 up; Mrs. Aleauist lost to Miss Ryan. G and 5; Miss Timms lost to Mrs. Thompson; Miss Brooks lost to Miss l. Thompson. . , . A concealed hole handicap match was also played, tho winner being Miss M. James with a total score of 34. OOther good cards were:—Miss L Thompson, 36; Mrs. J. Thompson, 37; Miss B. Payne, 37.
