WEDDING IN FIJI
GARDINER—GILLON The wedding took place at the Dudley Memorial Church, Suva on Saturday, June 10, of Miss Norah Geruldiue Gillon, daughter of Mr. J. S. Gillon, of Auckland, and Mr. Terrence Gardiner, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Gardiner, also of Auckland. The service was conducted by the Rev. W. It. Steadman. The bride, who was given away by Mr. John Chapman, wore a picture frock of palest pink silk net trimmed with flat velvet flowers and ribbon in W" darker shade. Her hat of net to match was made with a latticed crown partly filled in with flowers to match her frock, and she carried a Victorian posy in pastel shades. The best man was Mr. H. G. McAlpine. Following the ceremony a reception was held at Macdonald's Hotel, where the guests were received by the bridegroom's mother, Mrs. R. J. Gardiner, who wore a black and white ensemble, black hat trimmed with violets, and shoulder spray of the same flowers. Mr. and Mrs! Terence Gardiner will live in Navua, where Mr. Gardiner is on the staff of the Fiji Pastoral Company, Limited.
