(Supplied by the Council of Christian Congregations) Text.—More things are wrought- by prayer than this world dreams of.— Tennyson. Verse.— What a frieml we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer. O what peace wo often forfeit, O what needless pain we hear, All because we do not carry, Everything to God in prayer. Prayer.—Our Father, we commend to Tlieo all those whom'wo love anil all for whom wc specially wish to pray. There is 110 space for a special prayer for each, but Thou. 0 God, knowest all their need. Have mercy upon their infirmities, upon their weaknesses, and in the hour of special trial, be it sickness or temptation, give them Thy help to rise stronger and better for Thy knowing. Through Jesus Christ. Amen-
