TUAKAU INGLESIDE
COLOURFUL FUNCTION FRANKLIN CALEDONIANS MANY VISITORS PRESENT There was a large attendance of members and their friends at the Tuakau Town Hall on Thursday night, the occasion being a public ingleside, held by the Franklin Caledonian Society. Tho programme, which had been arranged by a committee, with tho chieftain, Mr. G. Craig, as chairman, Mr. D. Scott as secretary and Miss J. Robertson as assistant secretary, was predominantly Scottish and delightfully varied. Dancing for tho wholo company alternated with solos and exhibition dances. The instrumental music was played by the St. Andrew's Pipe Band and tho society's orchestra. Messrs. A. Rose, G. Watt, W. '.lodgers and G. McPhorson were in charge of the floor arrangements. Visitors from beyond Franklin included representatives of other Caledonian societies from, as far away as Waiheke. Among those present were Mrs. G. Craig, Mrs. D. Scott, Mrs. J. Macpherfson, Mrs. D.
