POSITION IN OPOTIKI [by TKtiKGiiAi'ir —owx connesi'ondext] OPOTIKI, Sfttiirriay The conditions under which children nro being taught in Opotiki wore discussed at the monthly meeting of the, Opotiki District High School committee. Several letters were rend from parents complaining of the position. Owing to overcrowding children are being accommodated at the Masonic Hall and the Methodist Hall, where the facilities nro stated to bo most unsatisfactory. The committee decided to write to the Auckland Education Board and Mr. A- G. Hultquist, M.P., on the subject.
