INDOOR FACILITIES AUCKLAND CLUB'S ENTERPRISE A new clubroom with an indoor bowling rink, billiard table and other Karnes was official!v opened at the Auckland Bowling Club oil Saturday. In declaring the room open for play, the president, Mr. J. Tyler, paid a tribute to the work of the subcommittee which was responsible for the arrangements. Ho said that the bowling club now had sufficient amenities to provide for the amusement of members on days when outside sport was impossible, 'the president of tlie Auckland Bowling Centre, Mr. E. W. Indcr, congratulated the Hub on its enterprise. The bowling rink, which is unique in the respect that it is the longest indoor rink in Auckland —f-'ft. long and Oft. wide —has a special attribute in the fact that players can use their ordinary bowJs, which is in contrast to the ordinary indoor rinks, where much smaller bowls are used.
