NEW BAPTIST HALL
POINT CHEVALIER CEREMONY The new Baptist Sunday School hall at Point Chevalier was officially opened by Mr. H. C. Kitchen, president of the Auckland Baptist Auxiliary, on Saturday afternoon, before about 180 people. The proceedings were opened by a procession of members of the Girls' Club and Boys' Life Brigade to the church in Forniby Road, where a service was held after the opening. The celebrations were continued in the evening with a social function, and further services were held in the church yesterday. Miss E. Coad, who has just returned from missionary work in India, will given an address to women to-morrow afternoon, and the celebrations will conclude on Thursday with a youth display and concert.
