HAMILTON IMPROVEMENT FIGURES FOR HALF-YEAR [FROM OUR OWN CORRKSPOXDEN-T] HAMILTON, Saturday An increase in birtlis and a slight decrease in deaths are features of the Hamilton vital statistics for tho first six months of the year. During June there were 47 births, bringing tho total for the half-year to 341, compared with 315 for the same period last year. Births for June last year totalled -13. Only IS deaths were, registered in June, compared with 28 for June of last year. Tho total for the year to date was 156 and for last year 16.'}. Marriages for the first six months totalled 191, while last month 31 were registered. Figures for the same periods last rear were 199 and 41.
