THE NEW METROPOLE
The syncopated iilt of the music created a merry atmosphere for tho numerous dancers at the New Metropolo Cabaret on Saturday night, when Mr. Sammy Leo and his Amcricanadians consistently sustained the tempo for celerity in rhythm and orchestral action. Novel ideas were carried out by Mr. Lee in his presentation of tho latest overseas successes, the band cooperating with zest in humorous and descriptive interludes. "Caravan," specially featured by the trombono section, was an outstanding swing attrae tion that won hearty applause, and original treatment of songs by Miss Joy Rovellc contributed to the enjoyment of the guests.
