MOSHULU'S fast voyage THREE BARQUES -ARRIVE ■ _ •] n,' : The grain race from Australia to Channel ports this year was won by the Finnish four-masted barque Moshulu, which arrived at Cork on Juno 9 after a fast voyage of 91 days from Port Victoria. South Australia. This time has been beaten only once —by the Pommern with 8-5 days in 1936 since 1932. The Moehulu, under Captain Boman. was carrying nearly 5000 tons of wheat. The Finnish barque Pamir arrived off the Lizard on June 12' after a voyage of 96 days from Port Victoria, and the Finnish "four-masted barque Passat, which won last year's race in 915 days, was reported off the Lizard at the safne time after a voyage of 95 days from Port Lincoln. The three vessels will be followed by 10 more sailing 6hips with cargoes from ..South Australia. These will include the Viking, which was the first ship to start in the race, leaving on February 16, and the Swedish vessel Abraham I? yd berg, which sailed two days later. The Finnish barque Killoran, which discharged guano at Auckland, began loading at Port Lincoln on June 3 and will be the last of the fleet to sail.
