NEW PREMISES
NEWMARKET PLUMBING FIRM SOCIAL GATHERING HELD The. goodwill felt toward Mr. \Y. A. Chenery by construction, plumbing and j related businesses was shown last night at a smoke concert arranged by A\ . A. Chenery, Limited, Newmarket, to mark its approaching removal to new and larger premises 011 the corner of Gillies Avenue and Morrow Street. The higher floor of the new building is to be occupied by Sheetmetals, Limited, and a large number of this company's staff alio, attended the gathering. More than 550 personal and business friends and their stafTs attended the concert, which was held in the new premises. Some came from many parts of the North Island, including Wellington. Among them were Mr. William Fletcher, of the Fletcher Construction Company, and the architect for the new building, Mr. A. M. Hartley, in addition to representatives of practically all city firms associated with tho housing and plumbing businesses. All made unmistakable their regard for Mr. Chenery. The chairman for the evening was Mr. E. Headley.
