JUNIOR MANAGEMENT adjournment of meeting RESPECT FOR MR. T. W. MABEN Members of the junior management board of the Auckland Rugby Union at the weekly meeting last evening stood in silence as a mark of respect for Mr. T. W. Maben, secretary of tbo union, who diod on Monday, and. after disposing of important business, adjourned until next Tuesday. In moving that the mooting be adjourned, the chairman, Mr. A. L. Simmonds, expressed his sincere sympathy with the family and relatives of Mr. Mabeii and also his regret at the loss of such a loyal supporter of Rugby. He considered that the union would be faced with a major problem in replacing Mr. Maben. Several members expressed similar opinions, and, after deciding to send a letter of condolence to Mr. Ma lien's family, the meeting adjourned. A. R. Box, K. Doherty, Otahulni, anil C.
