WARSAW'S PROBLEM
FRICTION WITH DANZIG THE KALTHOF INCIDENT COMMISSIONER INTERVENING Independent Cable Service (Received May 2S, 6.10 p.m.) WARSAW, May 27 The Polish inquiry into the Kalthof incident established that 40 motor lorries containing Storm Troopers, guns and ammunition, crossed from East Prussia into the territory of Danzig early last Sunday after Polish Customs inspectors had been driven out of Kalthof. Poland intends to ignore the Note from the Nazi Senate of Danzig demanding the recall of the three officials who conducted the inquiry. All was quiet at Danzig Inst night, but it is understood that Dr. Karl Burckhardt, League High Commissioner, is planning to take a hand. He called on Colonel Beck, Polish Foreign Minister, yesterday and had a lengthy conversation with him.
