VISITOR'S IMPRESSIONS OVERSEAS LEAGUE TALK Highlights of a tour of England. Scotland and Ireland were described by Miss S. Nolan when speaking to members of the Overseas League at the club rooms on I'Tiday afternoon. Mrs. F,. L. Burton presided. Miss Nolan said that, contrary to her expectations, she had found that the people of Ireland showed a spirit of friendliness toward the English people. As an instance, she cited the behaviour of the people at the Dublin Horse Show. During the international jumping event the Irish received the Knglish team with great enthusiasm. Another thing that impressed Miss Nolan was the love of nature displayed by the Scots. Every small cottage she saw in Scotland had a patch of garden, bright with flowers. At. the conclusion of Miss Nolan's address, Mrs. Patricia Hert sang a group of religious songs. The hostesses were Miss Nolan, Miss Harty and .Miss Amy Sutton.
