CIVIL AIR ENSIGN
USE IN NEW ZEALAND APPROVAL OF THE KING [BV TELEGRArn —rRF.SS association] WELLINGTON, Thursday Approval has been given by the King to the adoption of the ensign to be flown on British civil aircraft registered in New Zealand. The authorised colours are a field of light blue, with a dark blue Latin cross edged with white. In the first canton there is a Union Jack aY.d in the fourth canton a Southern Cross of four fivepointed stars coloured red. The flag is to bo known as the New Zealand civil air ensign.
