Katiknti. —The new president. Mrs. Culpan, and the secretary, Mrs. Barwere welcomed at the monthly meeting. A flower competition was held Mrs. -Raply, sen., and Mrs. M. M. Johnston were appointed delegates to_ the council meeting at Tauranga. Songs were sung In Mrs. Bootan, and afternoon tea was served by the hostesses. Greenhithe.—rTlie following officers were elected at the annual meeting:— President. Miss AVaite; vice-president, Mrs. Liddoll; secretary. Mrs. McCallum; treasurer. Mrs. Arnold; committee. Mrs. Hunter and Mrs. Black. Arrangements for the year's programme were discussed, and a paddy's market was held. Items were presented, and supper and dancing concluded the evening. Wellsford. —Members of visiting institutes and women's divisions were welcomed at the ninth birthday celebrations of the institute. Items were given by Mrs Moore, Miss Edmonds and members of the drama circle. Miss Robertson arranged several competitions. Bouquets were presented to Mrs. Armour and Miss Robertson. Luncheon was served, and the cake, 1 which had been iced bv Mrs. Watson, was cut.
