[by texkcrai'H —rnrcss association] ASIIBURTON, Saturday
In tho Police Court, Searle Dwyer Mason, of Timaru, was fined £5 10s with costs, and his licence was suspended until the end of the month, on a charge of driving in a manner dangerous to the public near Rakaia on March I'D. A charge of intoxication in charge of a car was withdrawn, the police saying there was not sufficient evidence to counter defendant's plea that a sudden attack of influenza accounted for his condition.
