ST. MATTHEW'S PARISH ELECTION OF OFFICERS Congratulations to the parish on the successful termination of a difficult year were extended by Canon R. G. Coats at the annual meeting of parishioners in St. Matthew's Hall. Cano:a Coats said there were still some pressing problems before the parishioners, and every endeavour would be needed to overcome them. He had confidence, however, that matters would continue to improve as the year advanced. The year had closed with tlie finances showing a small credit balance. Officers were elected as follows: Vicar's warden, Mr. C. W. Ravenhall; people's; warden, Mr. G. T. Zohrab; vestrymen, Messrs. J. Littler, T. Sullivan, C. Mountain, E. G. Lewis, C. Maloy, G. Maloy. E. Gerrard, A. Moore, J. Wills, C. R. Williams.

OIC.EVEDON ANGLICANS ANNUAL MEETING HELD Tho annual meeting of the central vestry of the Olevedon parochial district was held at Ardmore, the vicar, the Rev. A. Drake, presiding. The report referred to a year of considerable progress. All debts, including tho mortgage on the vicarage, have been extinguished, while a riiost satisfactory position in all branches of the district's finances was disclosed in the various balance-sheets. The following officers were elected: Vicar's warden, Mr. D. M. Bryan; people's warden, Mr. C. F. Duder; honorary secretary, Mr. D. M. Bryan; honorary treasurer, Mr. H. W. Driver; honorary auditor, Mr. F. C. 11. Wells (Clevedon); • district representatives. Miss Waters and Messrs. W. T. Duder and A. R. Browne (Clevedon), Mrs. J. O'Hara and Mr. J. H. G. Burnsido (Ardmore), Messrs. W. Chadwin and G. M. Running (Alfriston) and Mr. G. W. Heald (Hunua).
