Speed Trials Next Week
The Auckland Motor-Cycle Club's annual speed trials will bo conducted on May .14 at Muriwni Beach. Speeds of 100 m.p.h. are expected to bo»"recorded by some riders. Club members have probably read with mixed feelings of Mr. Evans' effort at Christchurcn in attaining the speed of 115 miles an hour, thus beating J. Mander's record of 110 miles an hour, established at Mirriwai in 1936.
