SOCIAL EVENING

DEVON AND* CORNWALL Approximately 100 members and friends gathered at the Fountain of Friendship Hall for the monthly social of the Devon and Cornwall Club. The guests were welcomed by the president, Mr. L. Harvey, who mentioned that since the last meeting one of the club's patrons, Captain Corbett Scott, had reached the age of 101 years. The hostess for the evening was Mrs. More.

The concert programme was given by Mr. Culley, Mr. Gadsden, Maureen and Desmond Butler and Mr. Blackie.

Dancing was also enjoyed, and a Monte Carlo dance was won by Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Freedan.

Tho guests of the evening were Mr. Baker, president of tho Men of Kent and Kentish Men Club, and Mrs. Baker.
