Arrangements for the Empire Ball wore discussed ht a meeting of the committee held this week, Mrs. J. B. Maefnrlane presiding. Among those present were Mrs. H. H. Partridge, Mrs. H. T. Merritt, Mrs. G. R. Keeble, Mrs. C. Heather, Mrs. Gordon DransAeld, Mrs. S. Chambers, Mrs. F. G. Alfrey, Mrs. R. WyldeBrown, Mrs. R. Humphries, Mrs. J. Price, Mrs. Seel by, Mrs. H. R. Thomson, Mrs. T. Buisson, Mrs. C. Heather, Mrs. J. B. Wallklate, Mrs. R. Purdon, Mrs. G. Coltmap. Mrs. J. Allen, Mrs. M. A. Wooller. Misses C. and F. Murray, Miss K. Keesing and Miss Jessica Baxter. Reports received from subcommittees promised well for the success of the ball.
