Sirs. C. Waddell, organising secretary of the Presbyterian Women's Slissionarv Union for New Zealand, returned by the Awatea yesterday from Australia. She will take up the work of the society in Auckland for a few weeks before leaving for the South. Sirs. Waddell as Sister Christabel was the first Presbyterian deaconess to be appointed in New Zealand.
