MARAMARUA HUNT

PUKEKAWA WARD MEET [from our own correspondent] TUAKAU. Friday The first meet of the Pukekawa word of the Maramarua Hunt was held at Pukekawa this week. Followers gathered at the residence of Mr. L. Catheart for morning tea. Mr. Walter, ward president, welcomed the visitors and thanked the property owners for the use of their farms. . The bounds threw oft' over .Mr. L. Cathcart's property, which was worked without success. Crossing to Mr. R. Ingram's farm, a strong hare was raised and it gave a good run through Mr. Ingram's and Messrs. Hunter Brothers' properties to be lost in barred country. Two more hares were raised in Messrs. Hunter Brothers' property, but both ran through Mr. I.
