Following were the results of the third and fourth rounds of the captain's trophy, played by members of the Akarana Ladies' Golf Club: — Third Round.—Mrs. Gordon beat Miss B. Vickerman, 2 and ■1; Mrs. F. Preston beat Miss Johnson. 2 and 1; Mrs. W. R. Woolhouse beat Mrs. R. H. Coltman, 5 and 3: Mrs. H. G. Lovell beat Miss T. Jones. 7 and 5; Miss S. Kirk won by default from Mrs. Russell; Miss O. Darrach won by default from Mrs. E. Philip; Mrs. F. Brewer beat Miss M. Worker, G and 5; Mrs. N. K. Bree beat Mrs. C. R. Taylor, 2 and 1. Fourth Round.—Mrs. F. Preston beat Mrs. Gordon, 4 and 3; Mrs. H. G. Lovell beat Mrs. W; R. Woolhouse, 2 and 1; Miss O. Darrach beat Miss S. Kirk, 8 and 1; Mrs. F. Brewer beat Mrs. N. K.
