INTOXICATED DRIVER
FINE OF £ls FOR MAORI FOUND ASLEEP NEAR CAR [from our own correspondent] MORRIN SVILLE, Friday Two Maoris, a father and his son, ■were charged in the Morrinsville Magistrate's Court to-day with intoxication while in charge of the one motor-car. The charge against the son, John Tahakaraina, was dismissed, but his father, Teri Tahakaraina, wag fined £ls. The police stated that til© two accused were found asleep in the rain lying on tho grass a few yards from the car. A full bottle of-beer and two empty bottles were found in the car.
