WEEK-END ATTRACTIONS
SENIOR FOOTBALL GAMES RACING AT PUKEKOHE A varied list of winter sports is to be held at the week-end and includes the third series of games in the Auckland Rugby Union senior competition, the principal game being between Pon-
sonby and Technical Old Boys at Eden Park. In the Auckland Rugby League senior competition Mount Albert, which is undefeated, will meet Manukau, which has suffered one defeat, in the chief match at Carlaw Park. The second series of matches in • the Auckland Football Association's senior competition will be played to-day and an interesting match should be seen between Ponsonby and North Shore at Bland ford Park. Matches will also be played in the hockey competitions and in thct senior panics United will meet St. Luke's at Papatoetoe. Various golf matches will be played at the Week-end. Among these will be the inter-club match between Titiranei and Auckland clubs, the seniors meeting at Middlemoro and the juniors at Titirangi. "Dazzler" Clark, a Scottish wrestler who has had 10 years' experience in the United States, will make his first appearance in New Zealand at the Auckland Town Hall to-night, when he will meet Lofty Blomfield. An amateur athletic meeting will be held by the Auckland Club and the various harrier clubs will hold runs. Ladies' hockey and cycling will also bo held. The annual inter-club contest between tho Takapuna and Manukau Yacht Clubs will bo held on the Manukau and tho race for tho Silver Fern class will bo hold by tho Herno Bay Junior Yacht Club. Pacing enthusiasts will bo interested in tho autumn meeting .of the Franklin Pacing Club, to bo held at Pukekohe. The Pakuranga Hunt will hold its third meet this season from tho Pakuranga Hall.
