CANADIAN NICKEL
SUPPLIES TO GERMANY DENIAL QF INCREASE (Received May 4, 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA, May 3 Reports from London that Germany was securing increased supplies of Canadian nickel were denied by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, in the House of Commons to-day. He stated that exports were really 12,000,000 dollars less than a year ago. Germany was obtaining supplies of low grade nickel from other countries in an effort to establish an alternative supply.
