ANZAC DAY
AUCKLAND SERVICES gathering at cenotaph PLANS FOR USUAL CEREMONY Arrangements are well advanced-for the iwrual Anzac Day parade at,tto Cenotaph under the auspices of .tlie Auckland Returned Soldiers Association This ceremony is being held m addition to the earlier dawn service at the Cenotaph. «r The parade wil lbe under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel C. Newman, with Captain R. SJudson, V.C., as adjutant. As usual there win bo representatives of a latrge number of units from New Zealand! and other British countries. ' ■ Thoise taking part Willi assemble, wearing mufti with medals and decorations, in Grafton Road above the junction .with Park Road, at 10 a.m., and will fall in at 10.15 to march to the Cenotaph. Six bands will lake part in the march. In addition the Auckland and District Highland Pipe Band twill assemble at the Domain tea kiosk and play nursing sisters to the ceremony. The Blind Institute Band will play at the Cenotaph.
