LATE MR. J. A. LYONS
REQUIEM MASS CELEBRATED BURIAL IN TASMANIA TO-DAY (Received April 12, 9.40 p.m.) MELBOURNE, April 13 Dame Enid Lyons, widow of the late Prime Minister, and her three elder children, flew to Melbourne from, f Sydney to-day. The children attended" a Requiem Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral, which was thronged by 5000 people. Dr. Mannix was the celebrant, and Sir Earle Pago, acting-Prime Minister, and some members of the Federal Cabinet, the Leader of tbe Federal Opposition, Mr. J. Curtin, and the former Governor-General, Sir Isaao Isaacs, were present. The late Mr. Lyons' burial will take place at Devonport, Tasmania, to-mor-row afternoon. Members of the Cabinet at present in Melbourne, •* will fly to Devonport in the morning.
