OLD CLOTHES SHOP
SOCIETY GIRLS' EFFORT ALL PROFITS FOR HOSPITALS [from our own con respondent] LONDON, March 25 In the poorer parts of London shops devoted to the sale of secondhand clothes arc not uncommon. Ono establishment to be found in Pimlico, is unusual. It is run by wealthy English society girls to help the poor, and all profits are fjiven to hospitals. "Wo have been going, only ten months," said ono of the girls. "Eventually we hope to make enough money to endow a ward in the now Princess Elizabeth of York Hospital for Children. "Last summer we were able to send £7O from the shop. All the clothes come from 'members and their friends and arrive every day. We sell literally anything." 1
