RETURNED SOLDIERS
NORTHCOTE ASSOCIATION! The report adopted, at. the annual meeting of the Northcote Returned Soldiers' Association last night stated that the membership of 116 was ia record, and the various activities had been well maintained. The financial statement showed receipts tot idling: £333 and expenditure £305. Appreciation was recorded of the services of Br! 11. 6. Dudding in connection with the medical club. Appreciation was also recorded of tlio services of Mr. E. J. Norns as secretary, and of Air. H. H. Markwick as treasurer.' The following officers were elected :-rPatron, Mr. M. J. Walsh; Miss E. Nutsey; president, Mr. A. V. Tyer; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Powell and W. J. Fullbrook; secretary; . Mr. E. J. Norris; treasurer, Mr? H. H; Markwick; committee, Messrs. G r Humberstone, J. R. Bethwaite, H. Taylor, D. Wysocki, G. Hart, J. Andrews and L. H. Hewitt; auditor, Mr. It. G. Hunt; lion, solicitor, Mr. H. J. G* George; hon. chaplains, the Rev.. F. Ci Truman, the liev. l ather M. Hunt, the Rev. S. L. Boot, and the liev. H. Hi Jeffreys; programme organiser, Mr. J. Leonard; librarian, Mr. G.
