BRANCH MEETINGS [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] ♦ WHANG A REI, Wednesday At the annual meeting of the Parua Bay branch of the Farmers' Union tlio following officers were elected:—President, Mr. C. S. Price; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. T). Harty and G. W. Telfer; secretary, Mr. H. E. Williams; committee, Messrs. H. W. Davis, S. Hutchinson. G. H. Mahanga, D. C. Campbell, C. I). McGregor and W. J, Friedrich; delegates to sub-provincial meeting, Messrs C. S. Price, H. E. Willams and D. C. Campbell.
OMAHUTA AFFAIRS There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Omahuta branch of the Farmers' Union. Officers elected were:—President, Mr. J. V. M. Cauty; rice-president, Mr. F. W. Messenger; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. H. Robinson; delegate to sub-provincial executive, Mr. J. V. M. Cauty.
