OBITUARY
MR. A. E. LEWIS [BT TET.EGRAFn —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WAIHI, Wednesday The death has occurred at the Waihi Hospital of Mr. Albert E. Lewis, aged 68. Mr. Lewis, with his brother, Mr. Ralph Lewis, was associated as a mining contractor with tho early history of mining in Waihi, arriving on the'field in 1890. They were engaged in shaftsinking in the old Waihi, the Silverton and the Waihi Company's mines. The family later removed to Auckland. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife and an adult family.
