RESERVES OF FOOD
SINGAPORE PRECAUTION SINGAPORE, Feb. 27 In the Legislative Council to-day Sir John Bagnall 'suggested that the Government should lay up two months' supply of foodstuffs, especially rice, with a view to possible emergency. The Governor, Sir Shenton Thomas, said the Government was most agreeable.'lt was likely that, legislation to this eflect would be introduced.
