MEMORIAL PLAQUE

FORMER HEADMASTER HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL A large memorial plaque in bronze commemorating the services at the Hamilton High School of the late headmaster, Mr. Eban Wilson, has been executed by the Auckland sculptor, Mr. Richard 0. Gross, for erection in the school assembly hall. At the top of the memorial are the head and shoulders of the late Mr. Wilson in has relief. Beneath is the following:— 1880-37. Eban Wilson, M.A.y headmaster of this school from its inception until his death—loll-1937. Steadfast was he and wisely firm ' . And of a kindness that is to greatness km, And ever mindful of this school's fair destiny. These walls and grounds hold much of him.
