.NOTEEI AMERICAN SCIENTIST GESjLIRE TO GOVERNMENTS (Received February 24, 10.15 p.m.) BOSTON. Feb. -24 Mr. Percy Bridgman, the leading physicist; at Harvard University and one of America's highest ranking scientists, announced that he has closed the doors of liis famous physical research laboratories at Cambridge, Massachusetts, to visitors from the totalitarian States, and will not discuss his experiments with such visitors. "The cessation of scientific: intercourse with the totalitarian States serves the double purpose of making more difficult the misuse of scientific information by these States, and of giving the individual an opportunity to express his abhorrence of their practices," said Mr. Bridgman.
