MORRINSVILLE SOCIETY [feom-'our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Friday A splendid display of dahlias was a feature of the Morrinsville Horticultural Society's annual show in the Drill Hall to-day. The champion dahlia bloom was a Charlotte ('allis, exhibited by Mr. C. Colson, of Hamilton, who won the H. J. Rogers Memorial Trophy. There was keen competition in the cut flowers section for the points prize given by Mr. 11. J. Scholium. The winner whs Mr. J. E. Lawson, of Morrinsville. with 2S' points, and the run-ner-up. Mrs. K. Jonas, of Waitoa. In the vegetable section, Mr. A. 0. Vowles, with 97 points, was an easy winner of the points prize. The runnerup, Mrs. 15. Day?ih, secured the Vowles Cup for the best collection of vegetables. The awards for dahlias were as follows: Open Classes.—Garden decorative: A. .T. Shepherd, 1. Charms: C. Colson, 1; A. J.
