INSPECTOR DROPS DEAD
SAME END AS PREDECESSOR [by telegraph—l'll ess association] ASHBURTON, Friday The stock inspector for the Ashburton County, Mr. Donald Hearne Gunn, aged 58, died suddenly at his home this morning. He succeeded Mr. J. W. Smith, who dropped dead at a farmers' "meeting 18 months ago. Mr. Gunn was in the Department of Agriculture for 17 years, coming here from Otago, He is survived by his wife and an adult family.
