,THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE , QUIET SATURDAY CALL Following active dealing on Friday there was a quieter tone ou the Auckland Stock Exchange on Saturday morning, with prices showing an irregular trend. The closing call of the week, however, usually displays a holiday tone, Government loans were not in such keen request and banks were steady, with a widening of the margin in New Zealands. Holders of insurance raised their limits and buyers for the principal issues responded, New Zealands registering an advance on sale. Business in industrial sections was at steady levels. There was a firming in inquiry for Reid Rubbers, to which sellers quoted 265, a rise of 2s over the week. Woohvorths (.Sydney) continued to react to their recent advance. For Taranaki Oils buyers offered 3d more at 8s 6d, to which sellers entered the market at 10s.
