COMMAND PERFORMANCE
COVENT GARDEN BALLET PAGEANTRY AND POMP_ LONDON, Feb. 0 For the first time since pre-war days, the pageantry and pomp of a Royal command ballet performance, will be seen at Coxent Garden, on March 22, in honour of the State visit to London off the French President, M. Lebrtin. Men are to wear uniform or court dress and women tiaras and jewellery, while the Yeomen of the Guard will lino the grand staircase. Blooms will festoon the auditorium and the stalls and gallery are to be occupied by Royal guests, diplomats and Cabinet Ministers.
The programme,* which was chosen by the King and Queen, includes the Vic Wells Ballet, with the Australian, Robert Helpmann, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
